Rivenbolt began in early 2019 when founder Marcus Chen recognized a gap in Singapore's luxury car rental market. While numerous services offered high-end vehicles, few considered the complete journey — the planning, the routes, the experience beyond simply handing over keys.
Drawing inspiration from cartography and navigation, Marcus developed the Magnetic North approach: treating each rental not as a transaction but as a guided journey. The company's name itself reflects this philosophy — "Riven" suggesting carved paths through terrain, and "bolt" representing swift, directed movement.
What started with a small fleet of five carefully selected vehicles has grown into a curated portfolio spanning multiple automotive philosophies. From British grand tourers to Japanese performance machines, each vehicle represents a different way to navigate Singapore's roads.
Today, Rivenbolt serves both Singapore residents looking for weekend experiences and international visitors who appreciate having a knowledgeable guide behind the scenes.
